Elections Officer Accepting Candidate Filings For 2016 Election

The positions of Mayor and three Councilors will appear on the November 8, 2016 General Election ballot. Individuals interested in serving on the Silverton City Council may file for candidacy. The filing period for interested candidates is open and the filing process, including signature verification, must be completed and delivered to the City Elections Officer by 5:00 p.m., August 30, 2016.

Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Utility Rate Increases

  • The rate and fee increases approved by the City Council are final
  • Increases go into effect on July 1, 2016
