| Project Information:In December of 2020 the City approved hiring Jacobs Engineering Group to complete the engineering design for a new water treatment plant. The new plant will consist of two treatment trains, each with a 2 Million Gallon Per Day capacity. Funding is coming from a $9.5 Million Special Public Works Fund loan from Business Oregon, a state agency. On March 7, 2022 City Council approved the zone change and design review application for the new water treatment plant. The City Council approved sole source approval of the Westech Trident Treatment System on August 1, 2022. The City officially went out to bid for construction on August 2, 2022.
