Permit Applications

In consideration of public health concerns related to COVID-19, the City of Silverton has modified city services to include acceptance methods for permit applications and plan submissions.
Please see below for more details:

  • Inspection scheduling, inspection results, and tracking the progress of submitted applications may be done online through the Silverton Permit Portal at
  • Inspections may also be scheduled by leaving a detailed message at 503-874-2208.
  • Permit applications are available below. Permit applications for work that does not require a plan review can be emailed to, faxed to 503-873-3210, placed in the drop box by the city hall parking lot exit or mailed to 306 S. Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381
  • Plan submission or pickup will be done by appointment only. To schedule an appointment call 503-874-2207
  • Payments can be placed in the drop box or mailed to: 306 S. Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381.

NOTE: We are currently unable to accept payments by phone, fax or email. Payments by check can be mailed to the city's finance department, or payments can be made in person at City Hall. Be sure to include the permit number and/or job site address with your payment. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
