Notice of City of Silverton Budget Committee Meeting

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the City of Silverton, Marion County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget and the use of State Shared Revenue for the fiscal year July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 will be held at the Silverton Community Center, 421 S Water, Silverton, OR. and via zoom on May 7, 2024 at 7:00 PM or immediately following the Silverton Urban Renewal Agency Budget Committee Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive public comment on the budget and the City’s election to receive State Shared Revenue.  This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

Written comments are encouraged to be submitted by mail, City drop box or email to finance@silverton.or.us. Written comments need to be received by the City no later than 3:00 PM on May 7, 2024. A copy of the budget may be inspected or obtained on or after May 1, 2024 on the City’s website and at City Hall, 306 S. Water St, Silverton OR. The budget and additional meeting information will be located on the City of Silverton’s website at: www.silverton.or.us. The budget will be available to view on the City's website and at City Hall on May 1, 2024.
