Parks and Recreation Master Plan Advisory Committee

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan Advisory Committee was established on March 06, 2023 to advise council on the Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update. The Parks Master Plan is the Governing Document that guides park development for the next 20 years.

 

Membership

Will consist of fifteen (15) voting members to be appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council. The Committee make up will consist of three (3) City Councilors, One  (1) Planning Commissioner and eleven (11) at large residents of the City or who reside within the Urban Growth Boundary. Citizen members serve at the pleasure of the City Council and may be removed without cause at anytime. Appointment to fill a vacancy for one of the citizen member positions shall be made for the remainder of the unexpired term of that member. Members serve a three (3) year term. The Community Development Director or designee shall be an ex-officio (nonvoting) member.

The committee will meet once a month in the evening for two to three hours.
