Transportation Advisory Committee

Transportation Advisory Committee

The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) was first established in 2017 by Ordinance 17-10 adding Chapter 2.10 to the Silverton Municipal Code to provide council with recommendations on transportation related issues.

In 2020 Silverton City Council repealed chapter 2.10 and dissolved the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) into the Environmental Management Committee for a desire to be more involved and make recommendations to City Council regarding the  City's bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure system.

In February 2023 City Council decided to separate the Environmental Management Committee and reestablish the Transportation Advisory Committee.
