Destination Strategy Plan Project Task Force
The Destination Strategy Plan Project Task Force reviews and provides recommendations to the City Council regarding developing a Destination Strategy for Silverton.
Membership and Term
- Will consist of seven voting members to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
- At least one member shall be an elected member of the City Council.
- The six others will be citizen members who are residents of the City or reside within its Urban Growth Boundary.
- Term: Duration of the Task Force.

Powers and Duties
This advisory group does not have any policy-making authority. However, it shall perform the following duties when requested by the City Council, City Manager, or staff designee.
- Review and provide recommendations for a Destination Strategy for Silverton.
