Main Street Redevelopment and Downtown Plaza Park Projects

Summary:

The City of Silverton is working alongside the Main Street Redevelopment and Downtown Park Plaza Task Force and consultants MacKay Sposito and First Forty Feet to facilitate the redevelopment of Main Street and a new Downtown Plaza Park. The Main Street improvements encompass reenvisioning and completing infrastructure improvements on Main Street from North Water Street to North 1st St. The Downtown Plaza Park project at 410 North Water Street spans just over an acre at the northern boundary of downtown near the new City Hall.

    • An arborist assessment was conducted on the trees at Plaza Park and along Main Street to evaluate their health and determine whether they should be retained or removed.
