Advisory Groups

City Advisory Groups are established by the City Council to provide advice, recommendations, and community perspectives on matters within their assigned scope. Advisory groups support informed decision-making by researching issues, gathering public input, and making recommendations to the City Council, City Manager, or City staff, as appropriate.

Advisory groups do not have decision-making authority unless expressly authorized by state law or by action of the City Council.
