The City of Silverton is pleased to invite you to join us for the Westfield Park Complex Ribbon Cutting as we celebrate the completion of the Westfield Site Improvements Project.
Date: Friday, May 15, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Westfield Park Complex (809 Davenport Lane | Silverton, OR)
This community celebration marks the completion of a $2.2 million investment in the Westfield Park Complex, which brings new recreational amenities, improved accessibility, and stronger connections among key community spaces.
The Westfield Park Complex includes the new pickleball courts, dog parks, and the existing Judy Schmidt Memorial Skate Park, creating a connected recreational hub for the community. The project enhances accessibility and connectivity between these spaces and surrounding amenities, including the Silverton 50+ Center, Robert Frost Elementary School, The Oregon Garden, Oregon Garden Resort, Gordon House, and the future Pettit Trail.
Additional improvements include expanded parking with 47 additional spaces, ADA-accessible restrooms and ramps, seating areas, and enhanced site access throughout the complex.
This project was made possible through a combination of City funding sources and a $750,000 grant from the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, helping enhance recreation opportunities and accessibility for the entire community.
We would be honored to have you join us in celebrating this exciting milestone for Silverton. We’ll have a brief program and ribbon cutting, followed by a free pickleball clinic provided by the Silverton Pickleball Association and an open house at the Silverton 50+ Center.
