You may schedule an inspection through our new portal or by leaving a message on the inspection line at (503) 874-2208. During business hours, you may call (503) 874-2207 for questions.
- Next day inspections scheduled via portal must be scheduled before 5pm for next day.
- Inspection requests via inspection phone line received after 7:00 am will be scheduled for the following business day.
- Include:
- Permit Number, Address
- Requested Date: The date that you would like the inspection to take place.
- Inspection type: Select from the drop down list the type of inspection that you are requesting. B = Structural; M = Mechanical; P = Plumbing; E = Electrical; PW = Public Right of Way; C = Combo.
- Combo inspections are for new single family residential construction permits only and do not include electrical or public works inspections. Please schedule these separately.
- As of May 1, 2024, commercial inspections will be performed Tuesday through Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm.
- Electrical Inspections are generally performed in the afternoon.

Inspection results are sent to the "applicant email" provided on the permit. They will not be visible on the portal. If you did not receive the results, please contact our office (503) 874-2207.
