Submit your permits and plans, book inspections, and check status with our new Permit Portal.
Follow the link above and select the webform that best suits your project:
- For New Dwellings, Solar, Additions, Remodels, ADU, Accessory Structures, and Fire Sprinklers fill out "Residential Permit Application - Plan Review Required" and attach the necessary plans, trusses, etc.
- For Commercial projects fill out "Commerical Permit Application - Plan Review Required" and attach the necessary plans, engineering, etc.
- For over the counter Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing work fill out "Permit Application - No Plan Review Required" and attach the corresponding fee table.
*Each permit must be filled out in separate forms.

- Check the status by clicking the "Search Existing Permits" and search by the permit number, address, date, or contractor.
- Add updated or missing files or book inspections.

We still accept permit applications in person or through email, if that is your preference.

- Permit applications, Plans, and Specs. can be emailed to permits [at] silverton.or.us (permits[at]silverton[dot]or[dot]us) or brought in person to 410 N. Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381
- Payments can be brought to city hall, placed in the drop box (by the flagpole), mailed to: 410 N. Water Street, Silverton, OR 97381, or paid online (if applicable)
Note: We can only accept payments online under $1500. Payments are not accepted over the phone. You can also bring your payment to our finance department on the first floor of city hall, drop it in our payments drop box, or mail it. Be sure to include the permit number and/or job site address with your payment.
