Description:
Installation of a mechanical bar screen just upstream of its UV Units at its Wastewater Treatment Plant. The new screen would be a mechanical bar screen placed in an existing channel that has a manual bar screen. The project includes installing a transducer and a controller to monitor flow level at the screen. The project consists of installing the UV Screen, controller, and level transducer including all mounting and electrical connections. The City’s integrator will program the controllers and screen as part of this contract. The selected contractor will install the new equipment, complete all required electrical connections, hire the City integrator to complete programming, and other work necessary to ensure the new equipment is installed and operating correctly. Contractor will coordinate with City staff on construction timing to minimize plant disruptions.
